Corrie created a series of work below, some shown below for the Tree Line Project in 2009/10. Tree Place is very honoured to be able to share some of this.

IF YOU WERE A TREE……..

If you were a tree…
You would not be just beautiful

If you were a tree…
You would be nature’s engine

If you were a tree…
You would suck water up your body like a straw

If you were a tree…
You could suck up approximately 6metres per hour

If you were a tree…
You could possible stand at the heart of all the worlds economics and politics’

If you were a tree…
You would be a key player in climate change

If you were a tree…
The warmer it got the faster you would absorb CO2

If you were a tree…
Your whole system would work just by standing in the sun & rain

If you were a tree…
You would provide shade shelter protection and privacy

If you were a tree…
You would provide economic benefits

If you were a tree…
You would help provide a quality of life to communities

If you were a tree…
You would be able to constantly replant yourself

If you were a tree…
You would help reduce crime

If you were a tree…
You would help create a healthy environment

If you were a tree…
You could still germinate after fire

If you were a tree…
You would promote biodiversity

If you were a tree…
You would produce oxygen

If you were a tree…
You would reduce storm-water runoff

If you were a tree…
You would combat the greenhouse effect

If you were a tree…
You would help control temperatures

If you were a tree…
You would reduce salinity and soil erosion

You would reduce noise & air pollution

You would act as water filters and improve water quality

You would help conserve energy

You would provide nuclei for rain and help increase rainfall
